Assistant Buyer - Label Home
Position: Assistant Buyer – 3rd Party Brands Dept (Kitchen, Hard Goods & Lighting)
Job Structure
Working pattern: Typically 3/4 days in-office with flexible core hours (8am–6pm).

The Role
You’ll need to be a driven, multi-tasking Assistant Buyer with experience in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Label Home (3rd Party Brands Dept) to develop attractive and profitable product ranges.
- Collaborating with Designers, Merchandisers, and Technologists to create seasonal collections.
- Taking ownership of brand relations, range development, and sales growth.
Core Duties
- Onboarding key 3rd-party brands across categories including kitchenware, hard goods, and lighting, ensuring brand authenticity, credibility, and design coherence.
- Ledering brands through product information workflows, ensuring maximum optimisation of:
- SEO and digital content
- High-quality product imagery
- Customer navigation and experience
- Managing brand engagement and customer alignment to drive meaningful online presence.

Location & Team
Based in NEXT’s Enderby office (Leicester) as part of the Home Brands & Licensing team—a group of visionary homeware experts driving curation and growth of our bespoke brands.
Requirements
- A passionate Assist Buyer well-versed in fast-moving retail and brand development.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for collaboration.
- A team player mindset with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Experience is key—ideal candidates will have relevant 3rd party brand experience in home/lifestyle sectors.
