Hours of Work:

  • Monday – Thursday, 9:00am - 1:30pm
  • Friday 8:15am - 1:45pm

About the Role

Dale Hall Community Primary School is looking to employ a motivated Assistant Catering Manager to join our friendly and hardworking catering team. Part of the role will require you to be able to deputise for our Catering Manager in her absence. As such a Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety Supervision certificate would be beneficial but training can be provided to achieve certification.

We run our own kitchen in house and pride ourselves on creating our own menu sourcing local produce and cooking from scratch. We are a happy school with a wonderful community feel. Our kitchen is an integral part of our school community and lunchtime is an exciting time which pupils look forward to. We pride ourselves on giving our pupils what they need to fuel their bodies and minds ready to continue their learning into the afternoon.

  • Preparing and serving food
  • Washing up and cleaning
  • Serving in a polite and friendly manner
  • Adhering to food hygiene and workplace practices
  • Deputising for the Catering Manager in her absence
