Recently refurbished, Aria Court is now a 92-bedroom care home featuring state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including a cinema, hair salon, and multiple dining rooms.

Located in a peaceful residential area of March, Cambridgeshire, the home offers lush gardens ripe with fresh produce. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a safe and comfortable environment.

About The Role

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Assistant Chef plays a vital role in supporting the team to maintain the highest standard of catering and residential dining experience.

Salary & Working Hours

  • £13.70 per hour
  • 40-hour workweek, with shifts worked on a Monday to Sunday rota

Location

Coronation Close, March, PE15 9PP

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality dining experience, ensuring residents are offered choice and dignity
  • Liaise with residents to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
  • Adhere to nutritional standards, ensuring meals meet the dietary requirements of all residents
  • Support the Head Chef in meeting regulatory and statutory requirements, and following company policies and procedures

Requirements

Training & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ catering experience within a kitchen environment (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Food Hygiene (essential)
  • Previous experience in care environments is advantageous
