About The Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Assistant Chef plays a vital role in supporting the team to maintain the highest standard of catering and residential dining experience.

Salary & Working Hours
- £13.70 per hour
- 40-hour workweek, with shifts worked on a Monday to Sunday rota
Location
Coronation Close, March, PE15 9PP
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality dining experience, ensuring residents are offered choice and dignity
- Liaise with residents to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
- Adhere to nutritional standards, ensuring meals meet the dietary requirements of all residents
- Support the Head Chef in meeting regulatory and statutory requirements, and following company policies and procedures
Requirements
Training & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ catering experience within a kitchen environment (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Food Hygiene (essential)
- Previous experience in care environments is advantageous
