About The Role

To lead the planning and execution of corporate and consumer communications strategy for International Beverage, supporting all key brand moments, product launches, events and partnerships across the company’s premium spirits portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

  • In consultation with Brand Managers, lead the brief and manage the creation of PR toolkits and media activation materials for all Scottish brands, whilst also offering ad hoc tactical support for Larsen, Cardrona and Thai brands.
  • Ensure all brand focuses are effectively and efficiently communicated to internal communications, channel marketing team and other key stakeholders to exploit potential media opportunities and ensure our position on reputational issues is consistent.
  • Provide strategic input into the development of the media outreach strategy and manage all associated activity with agency partners such as press drops, press trips and media events.
  • Partner with global community of PR managers to co-ordinate execution of plans and wider PR efforts, considering global and local priorities.
  • Maintain close relationships with key journalists across the most important consumer, business, and industry titles to identify pitching opportunities, secure coverage and make International Beverage Ltd the ‘go to’ commentators.
  • Develop group content calendars to keep both brand and corporate campaigns visible on group platforms such as website and LinkedIn across their lifecycle.
  • Own the delivery of the annual corporate communication strategy including direct day-to-day management of the PR agency, delivery of the corporate content strategy and responsibility for content on web and social platforms.
  • Support the execution of influencer marketing strategy for all tiers of influence (micro, mid-tier, and top-level influencer engagement).
  • Campaign management tasks such as maintaining a database of influencers, populating a gifting log, and ensuring regulatory process is followed.
  • Monitor the media and manage compliance with governance.
  • Support the development of the PR and influencer toolkit and guidelines to drive tonal consistency in advocacy activities across international markets.
  • Lead the content strategy and content creation of brand e-shots to consumer databases.
  • Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals.

About You

  • Proven experience in a traditional PR, digital PR and/or Content Marketing within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience supporting on the running of PR programmes with activities including media relations, content creation, press events/trips, ideas generation, and project management.
  • Self-motivation and commitment to providing impactful communication consumer brands.
  • Preferred: qualified to degree level.
