Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch
Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking an Assistant Concierge Manager to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Location
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Responsibilities
An Assistant Concierge Manager supports the leadership and day-to-day operation of the Concierge department, helping to deliver intuitive, personalised, and exceptional guest experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and supervision of daily Concierge operations to ensure seamless and refined service delivery
- Assist in implementing departmental objectives, work schedules, policies, procedures, and service standards in line with operational excellence
- Lead, motivate, and develop Concierge Team Members through training, coaching, and regular performance support
- Ensure Team Members maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, policies, and the local area
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional levels of guest satisfaction
- Support revenue generation through effective upselling opportunities and Concierge-led promotional initiatives
- Monitor guest feedback and assist in implementing actions that enhance service quality and overall guest experience
- Foster effective communication and strong working relationships with all hotel departments
- Lead by example, consistently demonstrating a polished, confident, and welcoming presence that embodies the highest standards of hospitality
- Operate front-of-house equipment and property management systems in accordance with brand policies and procedures
- Deputise for the Concierge Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of service and operational effectiveness
- Attend Front Office and hotel meetings as required, contributing operational insights and supporting departmental objectives

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Assistant Concierge Managers Serving Hilton Brands Are Passionate Hospitality Professionals Who Support Service Excellence, Inspire Their Teams, and Consistently Work On Behalf Of Our Guests. The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following Attributes And Experience
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Previous supervisory or senior Concierge, Front Office, Guest Relations, or Guest Services experience within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of sales opportunities and revenue generation
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proven ability to remain calm, organised, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine passion for delivering highly personalised and memorable guest experiences
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Impeccable grooming and professional presentation standards
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred

- Previous experience working as a Concierge Supervisor or Head Concierge within a luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
