What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll take ownership of your shift and make sure the operation runs like clockwork:

  • Lead your team, keep them motivated, and hit daily targets.
  • Make sure every order leaves on time, in full, and up to the highest standard.
  • Step in for the Contract Packing Manager when needed.
  • Shape the team’s culture, structure, and habits so everyone performs at their best.
  • Work hand-in-hand with manufacturing, commercial, and support teams to keep things flowing.
  • Keep health, safety, and quality top of mind while pushing for continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop your people, and manage performance like a pro.
  • Track KPIs, drive improvements, and make the operation smarter, faster, better.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll bring:

  • Experience as an Assistant Production Supervisor (co-packing or food production preferred).
  • Knowledge of health and safety principles; IOSH qualification is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems including SAP (Microlise, Contrado, Capture IT a plus).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills—keeping multiple priorities on track.
  • Proven people management and motivational skills.
  • Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
