What You’ll Actually Do
You’ll take ownership of your shift and make sure the operation runs like clockwork:
- Lead your team, keep them motivated, and hit daily targets.
- Make sure every order leaves on time, in full, and up to the highest standard.
- Step in for the Contract Packing Manager when needed.
- Shape the team’s culture, structure, and habits so everyone performs at their best.
- Work hand-in-hand with manufacturing, commercial, and support teams to keep things flowing.
- Keep health, safety, and quality top of mind while pushing for continuous improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop your people, and manage performance like a pro.
- Track KPIs, drive improvements, and make the operation smarter, faster, better.
What You’ll Bring
You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll bring:
- Experience as an Assistant Production Supervisor (co-packing or food production preferred).
- Knowledge of health and safety principles; IOSH qualification is a bonus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems including SAP (Microlise, Contrado, Capture IT a plus).
- Strong organisational and time management skills—keeping multiple priorities on track.
- Proven people management and motivational skills.
- Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Confidence with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
