Assistant Contracts Manager: Grounds Maintenance

GBP32,000:GBP33,000 per annum
Hours
Typically 7:30am : 4:00pm (flexibility required)

Temp:to:Perm preferred, although permanent candidates will also be considered

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Contracts Manager with a background in grounds maintenance to support the successful delivery of contracts across Oxford and the surrounding areas.
Based in or near Abingdon, you'll work closely with the Contracts Manager, helping oversee a portfolio of mainly static sites, including locations such as Milton. This is a varied role combining site management, client liaison, and office-based administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of grounds maintenance contracts.
- Managing and visiting static sites across Oxfordshire.
- Preparing and issuing quotations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Conducting client meetings and regular site visits.
- Managing emails and contract administration.
- Ensuring works are completed to a high standard and in line with client expectations.
- Assisting with planning, scheduling, and resolving any site issues.
About You
- Previous experience within grounds maintenance is essential.
- Experience in a supervisory, team leader, or assistant contracts management role.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Confident preparing quotations and handling contract administration.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Based in or around Abingdon is highly desirable.
