Assistant Day Service Officer – Kenmore Neighbourhood Resource Centre
Overview
Kenmore Neighbourhood Resource Centre seeks Assistant Day Service Officers to assist NRC staff and Service Users as required.
Key tasks include:
- Maintaining a warm, caring, and supportive atmosphere in the Day Service
- Contributing to planning and delivering tailored individual care to enhance service users’ independence and dignity
- Providing skilled day-to-day social and emotional support for service users
- Demonstrating initiative, professionalism, and responsibility
- Adhering to the Council’s confidentiality protocols
- Operating within a team, while adhering to CQC and Adult Social Care policies and guidelines

About You
To succeed in this role, candidates must fulfify the following:

Relevant experience
- Providing personal care
- Assisting service users with eating and drinking
- Performing moving and manual handling duties

Qualifications & skills
- Food Hygiene (Level 2) qualification
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working effectively with diverse individuals and those with complex needs
- Possess degree-level education (or equivalent) or comparable professional experience
- Desirable: Driver’s licence (D1 category)
