We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager / Design Manager in London to join our team and support complex multi-disciplinary projects, taking ownership of successful and coordinated delivery.

The Design Management Team is part of a larger Projects group, consisting of 50 employees across our UK office locations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading or supporting the delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants and external stakeholders.
  • Driving design coordination, programme management and project governance across multiple disciplines.
  • Managing project schedules, change control processes, risks and commercial performance.
  • Supporting financial management, forecasting, invoicing and fee control.
  • Championing quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement.
  • Fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture and supporting the development of colleagues.
  • Utilising digital design tools and 3D coordination environments to facilitate project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within the construction or built environment sector.
  • MAPM or equivalent professional chartership.
  • Experience delivering large, complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of contractual, financial and project delivery risks.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and confident managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience with 3D coordination platforms (e.g. Revit, Navisworks) and sustainability principles is advantageous.
