Assistant Designer (Print & Digital) - Retail

Quest Search & Selection is looking for an Assistant Designer (Print & Digital) - Retail. You will provide creative support to the Design Team, assisting in the production and execution of design projects across brand identity, digital platforms, printed materials, and retail marketing communications. You will help deliver high-quality design solutions that are visually impactful and commercially focused, partnering with the design manager.

This business is a leading B2B supplier & retailer. Here you will be part of a large international organisation with a highly influential marketing power with sustainable and progressive financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Brand Design Manager and wider team to deliver projects on time and in line with briefs.
  • Assist in developing creative concepts and design assets for retail campaigns, promotions, seasonal initiatives, and in-store marketing materials.
  • Support branding and logo development projects from initial concepts through to final execution.
  • Produce artwork across print, digital, and retail channels while ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Design digital content for websites, email marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.
  • Create and refine motion graphics to enhance digital marketing activity.
  • Maintain well-organised design files, assets, and documentation in accordance with internal processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience desirable not essential
  • Having 1–2 years' graphic design experience (agency or in-house) in retail or food sectors.
  • Experience in branding, logo design, digital, print, and motion design.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of print production processes is desirable.
  • Experience developing brand identities and logo concepts.
  • Experience creating campaign and event-related creative assets.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
  • Photoshop retouching skills are a plus, but not essential.
