About Us
Colorado College (“CC”) is a private, four-year, highly selective liberal arts college of 2,100 undergraduate students and a small Master of Arts in teaching program. It is located on a 99-acre campus adjacent to downtown, ‘Olympic City’, Colorado Springs. The campus sits on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at the foot of Pikes Peak. The college operates an innovative curricular approach, known as the Block Plan, which entails students taking one course at a time for three and a half weeks, with the academic year divided into eight “blocks.” The Colorado College Department of Athletics sponsors 17 varsity programs. Fifteen programs compete at the NCAA Division III level and two at the Division I level. Division III programs are members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), with the exception of Men’s Lacrosse (independent) and Women’s Lacrosse (WIAC affiliate). Division I Men’s Hockey is a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), and Division I Women’s Soccer competes as an affiliate member of the Mountain West Conference (MWC).
Job Summary
Join Colorado College's Athletics Division as the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing and Events, Ed Robson Arena! In this role, will lead the development and implementation of digital and video promotional and marketing materials for Ed Robson Arena, including signage and communications, as well as strategic social media plans. In addition, you will lead, direct, manage, and coordinate assigned events independently, exercising discretion and independent judgement. This role works collaboratively with Executive Director and Assistant Director, Operations to support CC varsity hockey game day operations.
Responsibilities
Event Operations & Guest Experience:
- Manage and execute campus and arena events, overseeing logistics, vendors, branding, setup, and tear-down while ensuring clear communication throughout the planning process.
- Oversee daily management of Chapman Community Room for all user groups.
- Support game-day operations by managing the Guest Services area during CC varsity events and assisting the Assistant Director, Operations with staffing and operational needs.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director, Operations to assess and coordinate staffing requirements for events and game days.

Digital Marketing & Communications:
- Lead strategy and day-to-day management of Ed Robson Arena social media platforms, collaborating with athletics and campus partners to cross-promote events and initiatives.
- Create and publish authentic, engaging content highlighting arena events, partnerships, and operational updates, while staying current on trends and best practices in sports and digital media.
- Maintain and update the Ed Robson Arena website, ensuring content supports both informational needs and marketing/storytelling goals.
Creative & Brand Development:
- Serve as the lead for creation and maintenance of arena graphics and marketing materials, including signage, promotional assets, advertisements, presentation decks, and event-related email communications.
- Support video production efforts by providing graphics and creative assets for broadcasts and in-venue productions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1 year of experience in a related field
One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
- $24.89 to $29.87 per hour
