Role Overview
- Salary: £89,735 per annum
- Location: Portishead (with agile working)
- Working Hours: Permanent – 37 hours per week

We are seeking an Assistant Director – Finance to join our Operational Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of our organisation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance leader who combines:

Key Responsibilities
- Report to the CFO and provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation.
- Lead a business partnering team, ensuring proactivity in working with stakeholders to drive:
- Financial control
- Best practice
- Manage the Rent setting function, ensuring:
- Statutory and regulatory standards are met
- Costs represent good value for money for customers
- Oversee:
- Budgeting cycles
- Forecasting processes
- Financial planning activities
- Maintain robust:
- Internal compliance
- Audit processes
- Risk management arrangements
- Utilise data-driven insights to:
- Influence business decisions
- Improve organisational performance
- Present complex financial information clearly to:
- Boards
- Committees
- Non-financial audiences
- Champion a culture of:
- Accountability
- Commercial awareness

About You: Qualifications & Experience

- Be a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Have significant senior-level experience in finance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead:
- Financial strategy
- Organisational change
