About the Role
The Assistant Director/Principal Manager (HR Operations and Data Analytics) is responsible for leading the strategic management of HR technology systems and data analytics capabilities within the organisation. This role oversees the comprehensive administration of HR information systems, drives operational excellence in HR processes, and ensures robust data governance and analytics to support evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Management and Enhancement
- Lead end-to-end Workday system management, including maintenance, configuration, performance optimisation, and feature enhancements aligned with business requirements
- Oversee change management and global deployment initiatives to ensure minimal operational disruption and maximise user adoption
- Manage role assignments, implement security protocols, and maintain appropriate access controls for all user accounts across HR systems/platforms
- Ensure data security standards align with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and safeguard sensitive employee information
HR Operations Excellence
- Ensure all HR operational activities within Workday are executed efficiently and accurately
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and process compliance
- Oversee workflow configurations, approval processes, and system integrations to optimise operational effectiveness
- Monitor system performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Strategic Digital Transformation Projects
- Lead in Data Migration projects to SharePoint Online and SG-Teams to modernise document management and collaboration capabilities
- Spearhead the development and implementation of the Future Digital Personnel (‘P-file’) System to revolutionise digital personnel record management through innovative technology and streamlined processes
- Develop and maintain Moments HR Portal content for staff and managers
- Ensure user-friendly access to essential HR resources
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Deliver user data requests and analytical insights to support strategic HR and business decisions
- Manage statutory survey reporting requirements and Manpower Management Framework (MMF) reporting obligations within prescribed timelines
- Develop and maintain advanced analytics dashboards and reporting capabilities using Tableau and other business intelligence (BI) tools
- Participate in MOM statutory surveys
Requirements
Minimum 8 years experience in
- HR operations, with at least 5 years in leading a team involving HRIS (Human Resource Information System) management
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday HRIS, including configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite and SharePoint Online
- Proficient in Tableau for data visualisation and business intelligence reporting
