Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working, typically 1 day per week in the office)
Shift: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for an Assistant ER Advisor to join our Employee Relations team, providing expert advice and guidance to managers whilst supporting the effective management of ER cases across the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of employee relations matters from initial receipt through to conclusion.
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Deliver employee relations support to managers via the ER advice line.
- Utilise technology and case management systems to provide a high-quality remote service.
- Support the triage of employee relations cases received from across the business.
- Build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across both public and private sector contracts.

What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of Employee Relations is ideal (such as Absence Management)
- CIPD qualified or eager to undertake CIPD studies with company support.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of HR systems would be advantageous.
- A keen interest in Employment Law and HR best practice.
- Strong appreciation of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information.
- Comfortable working over the phone and taking calls
