About the Role
As an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer at Arcadis, you will play a key role in delivering some of the UK’s most exciting and challenging infrastructure projects. You will work alongside a talented team, contributing to:
- Geotechnical design
- Ground investigations
- Technical reporting

Role Accountabilities

Support the preparation of:
- Geotechnical calculations
- Drawings
- Specifications
- Technical reports
in line with project and industry standards.

Contribute to the design and implementation of:
- Ground investigations
- Geotechnical solutions

Assist in managing project components, ensuring:

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
-
Degree (MEng/MSc) in:
- Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical bias)
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Engineering Geology

Some experience in the civil engineering industry, ideally with:
- Exposure to geotechnical design
- Experience with site investigations

Familiarity with:
- Geotechnical software (e.g., VDISP/PDISP, WALLAP, REPUTE, Slope/W)

Strong proficiency with standard office applications:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook

Strong numerical and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports.
