Responsibilities
- Procurement support: Assist the team in acquiring new development sites, primarily by liaising with utility companies over supplies and diversions, alongside working with:
- Drainage authorities
- Highway authorities
- Specialist consultants
- Design oversight: Assist in overseeing designs provided by external consulting engineers, including:
- New estate roads and sewer designs
- Foundation designs
- Ensure necessary input into securing designs for superstructure components like structural elements
- Procurement: Help procure service quotes for new developments and liaise with the Commercial Department to coordinate orders with preferred contractors
- Building regulation compliance: Collaborate with the Technical Team including Technical Coordinators, to ensure:
- Building regulations compliance
- Planning condition discharge

Requirements
- A relevant industry qualification (or currently working towards one)
- Prior experience as an engineer for a house-builder or within the construction industry
- Strong ability to:
- Plan
- Organise
- Monitor projects
- A positive, proactive “can-do” attitude to succeed and progress within the organisation
