Salary Grade: T24 Salary Range: $35,600 – $54,500

The Assistant Equipment Manager reports to the Head Equipment Manager for Football, providing outstanding support to student-athletes, coaches, and university staff. The role involves managing all aspects of athletic equipment operations, with a focus on football equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all football equipment operations
- Assisting in managing equipment logistics
- Completing additional duties as necessary

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum of two years of experience in a professional or collegiate-level athletic equipment room
- Must be an active member of the Athletics Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) or must be eligible for certification within one year
- Alternate combinations of education and experience may be considered
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to exceptional customer service
- Proven ability to build strong, quality relationships
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours
- Strong project and leadership skills
- High personal integrity, ethics, and trustworthiness
- Experience in strategic and financial analysis
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments in dynamic environments
- Commitment to NCAA, conference, and university compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license required
