Assistant Estate Manager
East London
£38,000 - £40,000 per annum

We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious residential development in East London, seeking an experienced Assistant Estate Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in residential estates, property management, hospitality, or front-of-house operations who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Working closely with the Estate Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the estate, supporting the concierge team, overseeing operational performance, and helping to maintain the highest standards for residents and leaseholders.
The Role
- No two days will be the same.
- You'll be responsible for supporting the smooth running of a busy residential estate, ensuring residents receive an outstanding level of service whilst leading and developing the concierge team.
- You'll also deputise for the Estate Manager when required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress into a senior management position.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of a prestigious residential estate.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Concierge and Parcel Team.
- Prepare staff rotas and manage holiday and sickness cover.
- Handle escalated resident and leaseholder enquiries.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Produce weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain compliance records, estate documentation, and operational procedures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
- Assist with audits, invoicing, and administrative reporting.
- Manage access control systems, resident fobs, and security procedures.
- Carry out estate inspections to ensure consistently high standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience within residential estate management, concierge management, front-of-house operations, or hospitality management.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using estate management systems such as Dwellant would be advantageous.
