Assistant Financial Accountant (Nordic Speaking)
We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Nordic-speaking Assistant Financial Accountant to join our dynamic European Finance Centre (EFC). This role provides a strong platform for personal and professional growth, with clear development pathways and full study support for your accounting qualifications. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the financial activities for our Nordic entities, while also working closely with the wider Controllership team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is eager to build a strong career in finance.
What You’ll Do:
As an Assistant Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the month-end close process Preparing and processing journal entries Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls Contributing to one of our specialist technical streams:

GRNI, Fixed Assets, VAT, and Leases
Supporting the team with ad-hoc finance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need:
We’re seeking someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow. The ideal candidate will have:
Fluency in a Nordic language (required) A desire to start or continue a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) full study support provided Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑moving environment Confidence to work independently while also collaborating effectively within the Controllership team A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for finance Experience using SAP (preferred, but not essential)
Where You'll Work:
This is a hybrid role located in Bradford. Candidates will be required to be on site 3 days a week (Probation period will be 5 days a week).
