Assistant Financial Accountant

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Financial Reporting and Business Partnering team as an Assistant Financial Accountant.

About the Role

You'll work in a small team of Assistant Financial Accountants, supporting Senior Financial Accountants and Financial Business Partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Playing a key role in month-end closing processes
  • Reviewing general ledger accounts and posting adjustments
  • Maintaining working files throughout the process

The team also has overall responsibility for producing:

  • Statutory accounts
  • Management accounts

Your work will directly contribute to the assessment of financial performance and position, covering a wide range of figures.

Requirements

Ideally, you'll be:

  • AAT-qualified, or studying for ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent
  • Experienced in working within a finance team outside of practice

Alternatively, we'll consider candidates who can demonstrate "qualification by experience" or those currently working in a finance role within the housing sector.
