Assistant Fleet Administrator
Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Assistant Fleet Administrator to join the team based in Motherwell. You will be working on a part-time, permanent basis, working Monday - Friday 09:30-16:00 and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary from £20,787.00 to £21,444 per annum plus excellent company benefits!
The Workshop Administrator Role
- Completes required fleet management and workshop administration and ensures records are created and maintained in accordance with company and legal requirements

What You’ll Be Doing as Our Workshop Administrator
- Update and maintain fleet, maintenance, stores, and vehicle records in accordance with regulatory requirements and company recording and retention procedures
- Handle daily queries related to fleet management and workshop activities, ensuring that there is a timely response and appropriate follow-up
- Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of depot fuel supplies and ensure relevant colleagues are updated of progress
- Raise work orders and process fleet-related invoices in line with company procedures, ensuring all relevant activities are costed appropriately and accounted for
- Assist with the development and management of workshop-based systems and associated software, coaching others in their application where required
- Prepare and circulate reports to key colleagues where required
- Advise and guide other colleagues where required to ensure all working procedures and processes are complied with.

What Qualifications and Experience Are We Looking for in Our Workshop Administrator?
- Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge and application of fleet management and health and safety procedures
- Experience of working in a team-based office environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
- IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse, and interpret relevant data.

- Ability to use initiative and be organized so that key tasks can be completed fully and on time
- Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
- High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
