Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Location Holiday Inn Hull Marina


Position Overview Salary £28,516.80 per annum / £13.71 per hour + service charge Hours 40 hours per week, across 5 days

You must demonstrate experience in:

  • Implementing and maintaining budget controls for food & beverage costs, productivity, labour, and supply costs
  • Overseeing Duty Management shifts as required
  • Participating in departmental meetings to drive business plan goals

About the Role As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily management of food & beverage outlets
  • Ensuring the highest standards of guest service
  • Planning, organizing, and directing operations, admin, marketing, and promotion
  • Being accountable for profitability and revenue generation
  • Managing food hygiene standards and health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders:
    • Food and Beverage Manager
    • Head Chef
    • Conference & Events Manager
    • Operations Manager
  • Forecasting weekly and monthly targets for restaurant, bar, and room service
  • Flexibility is essential – the role operates 365 days a year (7 days a week), with primary demand for evening and weekend shifts (schedule negotiable).
