Our hotel consists of 146 bedrooms, 6 meeting Rooms, a restaurant & bar as well as a soon to open swimming pool and sauna.

Job Description

What will you do:

Include But Not Limited To

  • Work across all Food & Beverage outlets including our restaurant, bar and conference & events
  • Ensure that the Food & Beverage team deliver excellent & professional guest service at all times
  • Work with all departments to ensure that service times are adhered to
  • Implement and maintain standards relating to food hygiene, brand standards, stock control and OHS
  • Manage Food & Beverage employees including rostering, training and performance management
  • Build a good relationship with guests or regular patrons. Try to remember individual patron’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service.
  • Handle guests’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently.
  • Check the supply of equipment/stock level and ensure that there is no shortage of items which have impact on the operation and guests.
  • Perform proper handover and communication to the next shift.
  • Carry out Duty Manager shifts.
  • Contribute to the realisation of financial targets of the department.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team to achieve excellent & efficient service
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across a range of departments, guests and employees
