Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, EVE Kensington (London) | OTE £45,000 per annum

EVE at Ember Locke is where Kensington comes to eat, drink and be seen. A vibrant, design-led restaurant and bar with a sun-soaked, Mediterranean spirit at its heart, EVE brings colour, energy and genuine warmth to one of London's most stylish corners. We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to help lead the floor, shape unforgettable guest experiences, and grow into the next generation of hospitality leadership.

Who We Are

We are White Rabbit Hospitality, the team behind some of the UK's most celebrated restaurants and hotels, including Rusacks St Andrews, The Randolph Oxford and Graduate Cambridge. EVE Kensington is where that reputation comes alive in the capital, a destination restaurant and bar inside the design-led Ember Locke hotel. As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be at the very centre of it.

Why this role is different

This is not a role where you count covers and clock off. As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at EVE, you will be the right hand to the Food and Beverage Manager and a leader in your own right, running services, developing the team, driving standards and taking real ownership of the guest experience across the restaurant and bar. You will have the autonomy to make your mark, the support to develop fast, and a genuine path towards Food and Beverage Manager and beyond within a group that is growing quickly.

What We Stand For

Our values are not a poster on the wall. They show up in every service, every shift and every guest who walks through the door. We look for people who live

  • HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE: You set the tone for the room. Every guest at EVE feels genuinely welcomed, looked after and delighted, and you make sure your team delivers that on the busiest Saturday night just as warmly as a quiet Tuesday lunch.
  • WE DO THE RIGHT THING: You lead with integrity, protect standards around allergens, licensing and service, and look after your team and your guests even when no one is watching.
  • WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE: You are never satisfied with good enough. You coach the floor, sharpen the detail and chase the kind of consistency that turns first-time guests into regulars.
  • WE ARE ALL ENTREPRENEURS: You think like an owner. You spot the upsell, control the cost, watch the numbers and bring ideas that grow the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
