Assistant Front of House Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an Assistant Front of House Manager to join our Front of House team at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. You will assist with leading, motivating, and directing an established team and must have relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include delivering a consistently high standard of service, ensuring that all our guests’ needs and requests are met in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading, motivating, and training a team
- Experience in a hotel reception role is essential – within a comparable property would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to valet park cars, UK driving license, and experience is essential
- Experience and an understanding of hotel computer systems – Opera would be advantageous
- Initiative and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Assist with leading the reservation team ensuring that booking and phone standard operational procedures are always followed and that guest journey is smooth and all details are correctly collected and inserted in the system
- Carry out staff training for the reception team and reservations team
- Prepare and keep up to date the SOP for front of house and reservations
- Strive to achieve each month’s budget and above, both in room & cottage nights and all revenue
- Assist with checking room availability and room categories to maximize revenue
- Assist with analyzing daily reservation activity, identify booking patterns, and action daily/weekly team goals
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Fulfill duty management shifts as and when required
- Assist with complaint handling and guest feedback in a timely manner

This role involves duty management shifts, valet parking, lifting and carrying guest luggage, and general assistance as required to our guests' requests and business levels.
Compensation
We are offering a competitive salary for a full-time role, working 40 hours a week including evenings, weekends, and Bank/Public Holidays.
