            Assistant Front Office Manager

Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel is looking for an experienced, confident, and guest-focused Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front, supporting a team, and delivering a high standard of service in a busy hotel environment. As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will support the Front Office Manager in the day-to-day running of the department and help ensure that every guest receives a warm, professional, and efficient experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Front Office Manager in the daily operation of the Front Office department Oversee smooth and efficient check-in and check-out procedures Supervise the Front Office team and lead by example on shift Ensure high standards of guest service are delivered at all times Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally Assist with room allocations, guest profiles, billing, and reservations Ensure all Front Office procedures are followed correctly and consistently Use Opera Cloud to manage guest records, reservations, room status, and billing accurately Support the training and development of Front Office team members Assist with rota planning and daily team organisation Monitor team performance and provide day-to-day guidance where needed Liaise closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey Act as the main point of support in the absence of the Front Office Manager Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused working environment Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards

What We Are Looking For

Previous Front Office experience within a hotel environment Previous supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and guest service standards Good working knowledge of Opera Cloud is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team A hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail A professional appearance and guest-focused attitude Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
