A Day in the Life – Assistant Front Office Manager
As Assistant Front Office Manager, You’ll Support The Front Office Manager In Overseeing All Aspects Of Front Desk Operations. Your Day Will Include
Leading by example to ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions Coaching and developing the Front Office team, including training and daily performance feedback Managing the shift operations and delegating responsibilities effectively Resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care, ensuring satisfaction at every turn Monitoring team performance and guest feedback to drive continuous improvement Supporting administrative tasks such as rotas, reporting, and team communications Ensuring high standards of presentation, service, and cleanliness across the front desk area Working closely with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Front Desk or Guest Services supervisory role, ideally within a hotel environment A guest-first approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in leading a team and motivating others to deliver their best Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera Cloud experience is a plus) Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high service standards
