Assistant Front Office Manager
Seaton House, St Andrews is seeking an exceptional Assistant Front Office Manager. This pivotal role is perfect for a service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering unparalleled guest service.
The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for the Reception team. Building a high-performing team is what success looks like, you will be a key face of Seaton House, helping ensure that front desk operations run smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee front desk operations, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service.
- Train, supervise, and support reception team members, helping them meet their personal development goals.
- Help implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise workflow.
- Ensure smooth coordination with Housekeeping and the Revenue Office to maintain high service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide local recommendations, and resolve any issues with professionalism and poise.
- Operate guest services technology and systems in line with company standards.
- Support the management of departmental budgets and operating costs, helping to control payroll in line with forecasted business levels.

What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience, ideally within hospitality or a related customer-facing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and team development.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- IT literate, with confidence using hotel management software and MS Office.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
