Assistant General Manager | Full-Time
OTE £39,300 (£36,300 base salary + £3,000 bonus) + tips
Location
Based at Cabot Circus, Bristol, in the heart of the city’s shopping and social scene. Well-connected by bus, rail, and local transport.
About the Role

- Run a high-performing restaurant alongside the General Manager
- Roll up your sleeves in service, solving problems and keeping energy high
- Empower your team with coaching rather than just targets
- Drive continuous improvement with a kaizen mindset—always finding better ways
- Lead with balance, turn chaos into rhythm, and ensure your team feels supported
Key Responsibilities
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the General Manager to operate a thriving restaurant
- Activate and uplift your team—make every team member feel seen, valued, and proud
- Jump into service when needed, troubleshoot quickly, and sustain a high-energy environment
- Develop staff through coaching and mentorship, not just performance metrics
- Champion kaizen principles, identifying small, scalable improvements and implementing them effectively
