Assistant General Manager – Brand New Opportunity

About the Role

An industry-leading family entertainment brand is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join their exciting new business in Crawley, marking a brand-new opening. This is a ground-floor role offering an unprecedented opportunity to develop and shape a team from the outset while working with a forward-thinking operator with significant growth plans over the next 2–3 years. Location & Compensation

  • Location: Crawley
  • Salary: c£31k (plus bonuses)

Role Overview

You will lead a cutting-edge leisure destination as it opens later this year, taking a proactive role in creating a dynamic, customer-focused culture and driving operational success. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Significant experience in managing multi-faceted venues (e.g. health clubs, leisure complexes, family entertainment centres, trampoline parks, bowling alleys, or hospitality businesses)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of leadership and motivating teams
  • Enthusiasm for starting from the ground up—preferably with hands-on experience in new site openings

As Assistant General Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead a large multi-departmental team (including frontline service staff)
  • Drive a fun, dynamic work environment that fosters a proactive and engaging atmosphere
