At the top of the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building, Darwin is our rooftop all-day restaurant inspired by the very best of British. Laid-back but luxe, the space is inspired by nature and understated décor which allows the food – and incredible view – to do the talking!
Role Purpose
Join Darwin Brasserie, located within London's iconic Sky Garden, as our next Assistant General Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Assistant General Manager to join one of London's most prestigious restaurant destinations. We are looking for a passionate hospitality leader who thrives in a high volume premium restaurant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading restaurant operations, developing a large front-of-house team, and ensuring outstanding service standards.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Leading, motivating, and developing a large front-of-house team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service
- Managing service standards and operational excellence across all areas of the restaurant during busy service periods
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of team members
- Creating a positive, energetic, and high-performing culture that encourages team engagement and career development
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar hospitality management role
- Experience working within a high-volume premium restaurant, dining, or hospitality environment
- A confident and inspiring leader with excellent people management, coaching, and team development skills
- Strong commercial awareness and operational expertise
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and service excellence
