Company Description

A new opportunity has arisen at our ibis London Docklands hotel, part of the ADD Hotel portfolio. This hotel features:

  • 87 rooms
  • A prime location near Canary Wharf, London’s financial hub

With both business and leisure guests visiting, the General Manager will lead the property’s operations, meeting diverse expectations.

This role is ideal for a passionate, commercial, and forward-thinking Assistant General Manager (AGM) who can support the GM while managing a diverse, multi-skilled, and hands-on team.


Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll stand as the GM’s key deputy, leveraging leadership, interpersonal skills, and strategic insight to:

  • Drive team engagement, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence
  • Boost commercial performance to exceed targets

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a hospitality or commercial leadership role, preferably within a similar hotel brand
  • Development Mindset: Strong commitment to self-growth and mentoring others
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional collaborative skills and ability to nurture positive relationships
  • Strategic Thinking & Communication: Balanced approach with creativity, communication, and executive presence
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success in driving KPIs, improving performance, and exceeding targets in a hospitality/business setting

  • This role requires a minimum of 12 months’ maternity subs.
