Join our team in Birmingham as an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Assistant Engineering Geologist.
About the Role
- Produce technically competent reports and liaise effectively with specialists and clients
- Develop ground models and design parameters
- Analyse slopes, walls, foundations, and geotechnical structures while assessing geological hazards
- Provide project delivery support, including client liaison and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams
- Contribute to sustainability advancements through better use of 3D data
- Site-based supervision of ground investigations and construction for major UK projects
- Uphold learning and growth via WSP’s developed training framework for ongoing professional and team development

What We’re Looking For
- A solid understanding of ground risk and site investigation
- Strong grasp of basic soil mechanics and engineering principles
- Excellent verbal/written communication with report and design deliverable production
- Drive to progress toward chartered status
