About the Role
Join our team in Bristol as an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Assistant Engineering Geologist. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing professional and technically competent reports while liaoning with specialists and clients.
- Preparing ground models and design parameters, as well as analysing:
- Slopes
- Walls
- Foundations
- Geotechnical structures
- Assessing geological hazards
- Supporting all aspects of project delivery:
- Client liaison
- Coordination with colleagues across other disciplines
- Contributing to sustainability improvements, particularly through:
- Better use of 3D data in project delivery
- Conducting site-based work:
- Supervising ground investigations
- Overseeing the construction of transformative UK projects across diverse sectors
- Utilising our newly developed training framework to:
- Develop your own skills
- Mentor colleagues at all career levels
- Foster a collective learning culture grounded in shared experience.

What We Will Look For
We seek candidates who can demonstrate:
- A fundamental appreciation of ground risk and site investigation.
- A strong grasp of basic soil mechanics and engineering principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to:
- Generate high-quality reports and design deliverables.
- Ambition to progress towards chartered status.
