Assistant Graphic Designer - Store Development - Signage & Graphics
Responsible to: Head of Store Development
Department: Property Centre of Excellence (CoE)
Location: Bury GHQ
Direct Reports: Senior Creative Manager
Role Purpose:
Assistant Graphic Designer role sits within the Graphics team which is part of the larger Property Design Team. Working alongside the Retail Designers the team’s primary focus is to design creative and on-brand environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, permanent branded display fixtures and POS for new and existing retail stores. It's imperative that our physical store environments look fresh, on brand and are commercially competitive to ensure we offer our customers an immersive, tailored shopping experience.

The Graphics team also provide support to the Groups global expansion by designing various presentations and communication collateral to help inform landlords of our unique proposition.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Creating innovative and inspiring environmental graphics and signage solutions for UK and International store projects
- Delivery of design updates for signage and graphics within the existing store portfolio
- Production of on-brand presentations and communication collateral
- Creation of print ready/manufacturing artwork
- Liaising with key project stakeholders from the internal departments (retail, marketing, multichannel, merchandising etc.)
- Image manipulation and retouching
- Assistance and support to all team members
Experience:
- Practical experience within Graphic/Industrial Design or signage sectors
- Past experience of working within a Retail environment or has understanding of Retail process, or may have knowledge and experience of working with a retailer client within a manufacturing capacity
- Proven experience at various stages of the design process, from concept to implementation
- Worked on multiple design projects at any one time. This could be demonstrated through past work experience or projects delivered at university

Desirable Requirements:
- Ability to generate 3D renders using Sketch Up and Podium plug in
- Ability to create digital content using After Effects or equivalent
- Experience of working within the signage industry
- Working knowledge of Figma, Claude & Gemini are desirable
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design/Industrial Design or other relevant qualification
