Assistant Head Chef – Zizzi

Assistant Head Chef – up to £14.25 per hour + Tronc and Benefits
As the Assistant Head Chef, you’ll be a senior part of the kitchen team, with the ability to step into the Head Chef’s shoes when needed. This role demands great leadership, an unparalleled passion for food, and a drive to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Step into the Head Chef’s role when needed:
- Run the kitchen & lead the team
- Ensure exceptional food quality & maximum profitability
- Be a menu mentor:
- Know the Zizzi menu & specifications inside out
- Share your passion with the team
- Work across any kitchen section
- Plan & prepare efficiently:
- Ensure correct food levels for shifts
- Delegate duties & delegate well
- Deliver Great Times:
- Work with the restaurant team to ensure a fantastic guest experience
- Take pride in presentation & quality of every dish
- Maintain high standards:
- Keep the restaurant & kitchen looking fabulous
- Follow policies, processes, and guidelines
- Uphold team consistency
