Assistant Head Concierge - 24 hours

We're recruiting for an Assistant Head Concierge for one of the Coolest New Hotel in Hoxton! Long revered as London’s effortlessly cool cultural core, Hoxton’s hip new resident has hit the scene. The 26-floor art’otel Hoxton promises a dazzling skyline view, ample gallery space, plus two Banksy originals preserved and on public display. With 357 guest rooms and suites, a lounge, gym and two destination restaurants.

As our Assistant Head Concierge, you are the first and last person our guests see. Your helpful, can-do approach and passion for great service will create an amazing impression every time. Your role is to support the Head Concierge and represent the department in their absence.

As a Master of your Craft, you will…

  • Build strong partnerships with local restaurants, attractions, and businesses to enrich the guest experience.
  • Provide tailored recommendations and arrange services such as transport, tickets, personal shopping, and more.
  • Set up a comprehensive and up to date guide of local venues and experiences to support the team in delivering informed guest recommendations.
  • Be fully informed of hotel operations, VIPs, events, and special requests.
  • Be knowledgeable of daily operations, arrivals/departures, VIPs, groups, art’beat activities, events and times as well as special requests/arrangements.
  • Provide a warm welcome and offer anticipatory and personalised service to our guests throughout their stay.
  • Design and implement the department's SOP’s and service flows.
  • Manage all aspects of the concierge & porters’ team, including payroll, training, recruitment, performance and discipline.
