Assistant Headteacher – Greenhill Special School

The Governors of Greenhill Special School are seeking to appoint a talented Assistant Headteacher to work alongside the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, leading a dedicated team of staff committed to maintaining and building on the school’s strengths.

About Greenhill Special School

Greenhill Special School is a successful, highly regarded special school located in Rhiwbina, Cardiff, with additional sites in Ely, Llanishen, and Llanrumney. The school has 150 pupils on roll and operates under a trauma-informed ethos with high expectations for every pupil.

Our Key Values include:

  • A friendly, nurturing environment
  • Staff trained as trauma-informed practitioners (mandatory for this role)

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher with:

  • Widespread exceptional teaching expertise

  • Proven senior leadership experience with measurable impact at the whole school level
