Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London’s West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. The hotel features 440 elegant guestrooms including 50 suites, along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces hosting a wide range of corporate events and social occasions. Dining experiences include seasonal British dishes and Afternoon Tea at The Montagu Kitchen and cocktails at the stylish Churchill Bar & Terrace.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager role
- Lead, motivate, and support the Housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the hotel.
- Monitor guest rooms, public areas, and colleague facilities to ensure they consistently meet brand and quality standards.
- Coordinate daily operations, including room assignments, inspections, and team scheduling in line with business needs.
- Work closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Manage hotel linen and housekeeping inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and cost control.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
- Support colleague development through coaching, training, performance discussions, and ongoing feedback.
- Assist with departmental administration, including rota planning, payroll submissions, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety procedures.

About you
We are looking for a proactive and people-focused leader with previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience, ideally within a hotel environment. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will be confident leading and developing teams, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating effectively with colleagues across the hotel. Experience with hotel housekeeping operations, inventory management, and workforce planning would be highly advantageous.
