DP World is looking for an Assistant HRBP to join our our UK & Ireland HR team in Burton-on-Trent. This role is perfect for a dedicated HR professional eager to grow and make a meaningful contribution to DP World. Reporting to the HR Business Partner – Tech UK, you will pay a critical role in driving the people agenda and delivering HR initiatives across our major Burton operation, & SG&A functions. You will collaborate closely with and support business leaders and circa 150 employees to provide a ‘best in class’ HR service. How will you contribute: Assist the HR team in implementing DP World HR programmes and initiatives aligned with DP World’s principles, objectives and goals. Support the HR team in talent acquisition processes, including job evaluation and grading and formal job offers, contracts and onboarding. Act as the main point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures. Manage Employee Relations by providing advice and support to management intervening where necessary to address performance issues, absences, incidents, grievances and disciplinary matters. Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programmes on various HR topics. Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans. Coach and support managers on leadership and cultural change through stakeholder relationships to enable business and functional goals and objectives to be achieved. Support employee engagement initiatives, reward and recognition and champion a positive and inclusive work culture. Ensure compliance with local country employment laws and regulations and adherence. Provision of HR management reports and analysis for your respective sites and the associated administration. Be involved in and work on HR projects for the wider business as required. What will you Bring: CIPD qualification or equivalent level of HR experience. Previously worked as an HR Generalist or in an Advisory level role in a fast-moving HR environment. Proven knowledge of HR practice and UK employment law, which is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers. Structured mindset with demonstrable time management, organisation and attention to detail capabilities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
