About the Role
At The Caledonian Edinburgh, our In-Room Dining experience brings refined luxury directly to the guest’s door. We are seeking an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager to support the leadership of this bespoke service, ensuring every in-room moment - from breakfast trays to late-night indulgences - is delivered with elegance, precision and exceptional care.
The Person
- A confident hospitality professional with experience in luxury F&B service
- Warm, polished and discreet, with a natural ability to anticipate guest needs
- Strong communicator with leadership potential and a coaching mindset
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and service presentation
- Flexible, hands-on and comfortable supporting operations across F&B outlets

The Role
- Support the In-Room Dining Manager in leading the team and daily operations
- Ensure all in-room dining experiences meet luxury brand standards
- Supervise service flow, team performance, order accuracy and guest satisfaction
- Assist with stock control, amenities coordination and equipment upkeep
- Champion training, development and high service standards across the team
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation, delivery and presentation of in-room dining orders
- Support team briefings, handovers, training and performance feedback
- Respond to guest requests promptly, providing personalised service
- Ensure front and back-of-house areas remain organised, clean and compliant
- Uphold health & safety, hygiene, brand and grooming standards at all times
