About The Role
As an Assistant Independent Living Partner in Bordon (GU35), you will support older residents living independently within a busy housing scheme. This full-time, temporary role offers £15.17 per hour for 37 hours weekly. You will act as the first point of contact for residents, managing tenancy and scheme support.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting welfare checks
- Signposting to relevant services
- Overseeing social alarm systems
- Completing health & safety compliance checks
Encouraging resident involvement and community engagement is key. Proficiency with IT systems for record-keeping is required. Previous experience in housing or care support is essential, along with strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.

We're looking for a compassionate and organised Assistant Independent Living Partner to support older residents living independently within a busy housing scheme.
What You'll Be Doing
- 🏠 Acting as the first point of contact for residents, providing tenancy and scheme management support
- ❤️ Carrying out agreed welfare contacts and signposting customers to relevant support services
- 🔔 Managing social alarm systems
- ✔️ Completing health & safety and compliance checks across schemes
- 🤝 Encouraging resident involvement and supporting community engagement
- 📱 Using IT systems to maintain accurate records and manage your workload

What We're Looking For
- ✅ Experience in housing, support, independent living or a customer-focused environment
- ✅ Understanding of the needs of older people and promoting independent living
- ✅ Strong communication and IT skills
- ✅ Able to work independently and manage a lone-working role
- ✅ Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- ✅ Willingness to travel across the region when required
- ✅ Enhanced DBS (or willing to undergo a DBS check)
