Assistant Landscape Architect – Bristol

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Landscape Architect to join our studio team in Bristol.

We are interested in hearing from graduate Landscape Architects and technically skilled individuals already in practice, to join our busy teams and provide production and landscape technical support.

About the Role

The successful applicant must be:

  • Capable of working individually with support and direction from the landscape team
  • Motivated, well organised, and confident in developing design sketch drawings into technical drawing packages
  • Possess a high standard of written and verbal communication

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day support to the senior team on both production packages and project stage work
  • Producing graphical plans and presentation documents for early-stage client and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting a diverse range of projects, from rural to urban settings, in various project types, sectors, and scales
  • Contributing to all stages of design, including early feasibility studies, to technical detailing and construction monitoring on-site
  • Gaining practical experience across feasibility, planning, tender, and construction stages of projects
  • Developing skills with tailored training and support in specialised areas

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Strong time management and organisation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Ability to work within a team while taking clear instruction from designers
  • Skilled in detailing, with a capacity for technical support

Desirable Skills

  • Formal Landscape Architecture qualification(s)
  • Experience and familiarity with Revit
  • Ability to support varying design stages
  • Experience navigating planning applications successfully
  • Multi-agency working expertise
