Assistant Management Accountant
Assistant Management Accountant – Finance Department
KINTO UK is seeking an ambitious individual to join our Finance Department in the role of Assistant Management Accountant.
This position is ideal for you if you are currently studying your AAT qualification and have gained finance or accounts experience, focusing on supporting the preparation of reconciliations and management accounts.
About the Management Accounts Team
The Management Accounts team is critical to upholding KINTO UK’s financial integrity. Through rigorous oversight, the team manages key areas such as:
- Financial controls
- Cash flow integrity
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Regulatory compliance
- Risk mitigation and fraud prevention
By reviewing and enhancing internal controls, the team ensures long-term financial sturdiness and decision-making accuracy.
The Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate, timely, and high-value finance services. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing reconciliations and management accounts with precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Providing high-quality internal and external service through responsiveness and problem-solving.
- Ensuring timely delivery of tasks supported by a commitment to excellence.
Core Duties
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations efficiently
- Processing bank transactions and financial reconciliations
- Preparing ad-hoc financial analyses
- Ensuring attention to detail in every task (discrepancies or delays can impact reporting)
- Assisting with accurate management accounts production for KEU/TMC reporting
- Collaborating with departmental heads to support decision-making
- Identifying process improvements and opportunities for efficiency

- Understand and apply accounting principles while reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
- Analyse financial data to spot trends that inform strategic decisions.

- Troubleshoot discrepancies, diagnose root causes, and implement efficient resolutions.

- Work within SAP environments and advanced features of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Enrolment in or completion of AAT qualification, with either no or some finance/accounts experience.
- Enhanced Security Clearance required for KINTO-UK Ltd employees.
