Assistant Management Accountant

What we truly seek is a genuine passion for travel and an eagerness to learn. This is a unique role within the finance team reporting into the Director of Financial Control. You will be responsible for assisting with monthly management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and the annual audit for both Your Golf Travel and Premier Golf. You will work closely with the Financial Accountant for US Operations and the Financial Team for Your Golf Travel. This encompasses the following areas: Monthly management accounts for our core UK business Monthly management accounts for our core US business Day to day bookkeeping for both companies Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assistance with the annual audit What You’ll Be Doing: Accruals for overheads and cost of sales, payroll journals and fixed assets. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis for prepayments, accruals and fixed assets. Assistance with the annual audit. Assistance with management accounts preparation including variance analysis US Bank and credit card reconciliations UK regulatory reporting, including VAT preparation and submission The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the overall objectives of the organisation. What We’re Looking For: This role will be well suited to an individual with previous experience in an entry level finance role or a relevant degree. There will be an opportunity to study towards a professional qualification based upon performance in role.
