The Stephen Perse Foundation is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team at the Sixth Form College on Bateman Street, Cambridge. If you are a proactive finance professional with a sharp eye for detail and advanced Excel skills, this is your opportunity to make a real impact in an environment where extraordinary things happen every day.
What you’ll do:
- Provide vital technical support to the finance team, focusing on fees ledger billing and management accounts.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, fixed asset depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
- Manage monthly nursery fee invoicing and import transaction data into Sage.
- Act as a finance business partner to the wider school community and lead the financial reconciliation for school trips.

What you’ll bring:
- An AAT Level 3 qualification (essential).
- At least 12 months of general customer relations experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
