We are looking for someone who wants to use their finance skill to make a difference to the healthcare services we provide.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join us. As part of the Surgery Management Accounts Team, you will provide a high quality accounting service to a range of Service Lines in the Division. This is a rewarding and challenging role requiring financial and technical accounting expertise, underpinned by excellent communication and organisational skills.
The successful candidate should be educated to Degree level in the relevant subject and / or have equivalent demonstrable experience.

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
This role is to provide basic management accounting support to a number of service lines and to support the work of the Surgery Management Accounts team with financial and technical accounting support. The role involves utilising detailed understanding of accounting procedures, processes, regulations, financial techniques and relevant legislation, for individual Service lines.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include assisting in the production of management accounting information and high quality financial reports in line with required timescales, ensuring information is accurate, timely and robust, regularly liaising with Budget Holders and Operational Managers.
