The role of Assistant Management Accountant
Requires a detail-oriented professional to assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Description
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes within the department.
- Conduct variance analysis to monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with audit preparations as required.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Profile
A Successful Assistant Management Accountant Should Have
- A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- AAT / ACCA / CIMA part qualified.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A relevant qualification or progression towards a recognised accounting certification.
- Experience working within the industrial or manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
