If you're an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or Assistant Accountant looking to move into a more commercial and analytical role, this is an excellent opportunity to build your management accounting experience while continuing your professional studies.

At G's Fresh, you'll become part of a supportive finance team where you'll gain hands-on exposure to management accounts, business partnering, reporting, and financial analysis across a dynamic and fast-paced business. What You'll Be Doing

As our Assistant Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information that helps drive business decisions. You'll:

  • Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end processes.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities, providing meaningful insight to stakeholders.
  • Maintain financial systems and data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with operational and finance teams across the business, building strong relationships and supporting decision-making.
  • Support audits and respond to stakeholder queries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Contribute to finance improvement projects, helping enhance reporting, processes and data analysis.
  • Provide cross-functional support across the wider finance team as required.

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who has a solid grounding in finance and is ready to progress into assistant management accounting.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant role.
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience using formulas, pivot tables and analysing data.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues across the business.
  • A curious, analytical mindset and a desire to continuously improve processes.
  • Experience with, or an interest in developing, Power BI skills would be an advantage.
