About Fonix
Fonix is a fast-growing, publicly listed payments and messaging technology company. We help some of the biggest brands engage customers and take frictionless mobile payments, with operations spanning the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, and Portugal. Our finance team is small and fast-paced, and this role is a great fit for someone part-qualified who's ready to develop their finance career.
The Role
You'll own the preparation of management accounts for our growing French subsidiary, handling balance sheet reconciliations and VAT across multiple territories, including regular contact with accountants and advisors in different territories.
Alongside that, you'll flex into day-to-day finance operations when the wider team needs an extra pair of hands. It's a great opportunity to broaden your experience across international entities while turning your exam knowledge into real, hands-on experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
